Borusan Plastic Pipe Raw Material Properties and the Fittings are manufactured from "Polypropylene Random Copolymer (PPRC) Type 3" material having the thermoplastic property and the propylene ethylene obtained from copolymerization. Borusan Plastic Pipe Raw Material is a product which is high molecular weight, low crystal and having high temperature stabilization and it is also a high resistant product compared to the like. This material is suitable for the transportation cold water, hot water in the conditions foreseen by standards and the various fluids in TS 11448.

Borusan Plastic Pipe and Fitting Systems Borusan Plastic Pipe are scale-free, rust-free and impenetrable. Borusan Plastic Pipe has the electricity isolation property and is a true isolator. Borusan Plastic Pipe is at the same chemically inactive and it is resistant against the acidic and alkaline substances it contacts. The raw material of Borusan Plastic Pipe PPRC Type 3 is from the polymer with high chemical resistance and it is in conformity with the properties specified in the standards of TS 11448. The internal and the external surfaces of Borusan Plastic Pipe are resistant to corrosion. The internal surfaces of Borusan Plastic Pipe are smooth, homogeneous and nonporous and it will not be filled with any foreign substances. Borusan Plastic Pipe does not allow mossing and bacteria growing. Borusan Plastic Pipe is in conformity with the instructions of the Ministry of Health and it holds the certificate of health granted by the Institute Directorate of Hıfzıssıhha and it also holds the certificates of availability in drinking water installations. The coefficient of linear heating expansion is more compared to metals. The operating pressure is 20 in 20 °C and 10 bar in 65 °C. The expiry date of the material used in normal conditions is at least 100 years. The temperature of use of Borusan Plastic Pipe in normal conditions in installation is 70-95 °C. It is not a water absorbent material and it can be used in hot and very humid environments. Borusan Plastic Pipe dose not make noise in high speed and pressure. Borusan Plastic Pipe dose not require a special isolation in case on contact with construction materials like cement and lime.
